STATUTE OF THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES AND ARTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA

I – BASIC PROVISIONS

Article 1

The Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska (hereinafter: the
Academy), is the highest institution in the Republic of Srpska (hereinafter: the Republic),
in the fields of science, arts, work and representation.

The Academy develops and fosters development of science and promotes the
artistic activity.

The Academy is an institution of special national interest for the Republic.
The Academy is composed of its members elected on the basis of the results of
their scientific, i.e. artistic work.
